Anyone need an experienced Digital Forensic investigator?
I shall be leaving Unisys on Friday, after over 20 years with them, due to redundancy.

Started in my teens, and they were my second employer.
Had some awesome times with em, met best mates, partied, met chicks and travelled the world.
Programmed, Desktop Supported, Server Supported, LAN Supported, Wireless Supported, and for the last few years was the Global Digital Forensic Investigator for over 32,000 employees.

Company have been cutting back for some time (used to be 64,000 of us) and is now cutting back _severely_ worldwide, and most of my mates have already been 'let go'.

You'll know I don't usually post on here, and this is most _definately_ not a post for sympathy -
but I know a load of my friends are nerds and geeks just like me so thought I'd see if any of you Froods knew of any Forensic positions going in your companies / had any contacts you think might be useful .... am mostly looking for work in London/West London, but will travel, even abroad.

Am looking forward to a new challenge, and several weeks off too!!!!

Feel free to contact me here - schwaboy 'at' hotmail 'dot' com

    Cheers,
    Stef

As Young Master Barringer expunged in a post, I was indeed 'dissing' (I believe the kids call it), this obviously fine media for information disbursment, hence the first line of my post.

However, afeter seeing Lala repost my message I've had a good idea......

So if you ALL re-post my ad for what will be a WICKED weekend (remmeber SFX Magazine officially voted our FIRST con AliensStoleMyHandBag the BEST SCI-FI Con of the Century) so we must do some things right, then lots of people will see it.

This is what I do (apparently)
So, there's this TV series, putting comedians in front of 'unusual' audiances running on ITV at the mo.
Tonight at 10pm on ITV, Dara O'Briain is with a bunch of LiveRoleplayers. Yes, that's right - LaRPers. That thing wot I do, withsome of you, and what I do when I miss other events like Sportsmania and LFCC etc.....

I /could/ make excuses for it now, saying there are ALL sorts of people playing in ALL sorts of systems, some young, some old, some freaky, some VERY freaky. There are THOUSANDS of us - 8 thousand at the Gathering alone last year(one event of many)

But I won't. We are what we are, Freaks, Geeks and Drunken Bums. Me being all of the above.

Watch it and weep my friends...... then come and be a goblin in a field wiv me :-)

    Life, Death, Re-animation !!!
    28 Weeks Later .... R.O.C.K.S. !!!!!
I wanted to see it weeks ago with like minded ZomHead/s but ended up seeing with other mates last night before it left the screen. It really is FANTASTIC. The music just made my soul shudder when it started, same as it did in 28Days, and it had my most FAVOURITE DEATH SCENE - EVER!!! in it.
No spoilers but the kiss of deathscene was just AMAZING. So emotionally powerful! Realisation, Horror, RAGE!!!!! Horrendous death.

Ok, so I said I wouldnt post on here, and I don't do blogs, prefer talking to people, or at least IM'ing, but I kinda gave in with www.myspace.com//stefzilla and http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=694975342

So thought I'd sully myself with this thing too.
More than that, I've been remmebering what Max has been trying to drum into me - I dont HAVE to post, but can keep up to date with people that I dont hear from much, - erk im rambling, blah blah ramble ramble.

Anyways - am off to be a 1977 schoolgirl with Elvis, Ian, Parker n Jumbo(apparently I'm able to link to J's livejournal somehow, but maybe i shouldnt in case his work collegues see things)(Feck - everyone knows / I'M / a FREAK/GEEK !!!!!) Willard Valley beckons yet again, with the promise of being attacked n bitten by Zombies, and rising up again!!!!! - www.terror4fun.com
